    2 Cups flour
    1 Cup margarine, softened
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 Cup sifted powder sugar
    2 tsp water
    1 Cup quick cooking oats

    Recipe



    Cream butter, add sugar gradually, creaming it in
    Blend in water
    Stir in dry ingredients gradually. The dough will be quite stiff
    Shape into small balls with hands
    Place on ungreased cookie sheets
    Bake in slow oven, 325 for 25-30 minutes
    Cool on cake racks
    When cool, frost and roll in coconut

    Mint Frosting

    2 Cups sifted powder sugar
    1/4 Cup milk
    1/2 tsp mint extract
    Green food coloring
    2 boxes shredded coconut

    Stir sugar gradually into milk
    Add a few drops of green food coloring for a pale green color, more if you like a darker green
    Using 2 forks as a pair of tongs, dip cooled cookies into frosting, then roll and coat well with coconut
    These may be frozen
