Mulled Red Wine

Zest and juice of 2 lemons
Zest and juice of 1/2 navel orange
2 cups of cold water
7 whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1/4 cup of sugar
1 bottle of red wine
Warm 12 to 15 punch cups. Finely sliver the lemon and orange zest. Strain the lemon and orange juices into a stainless steel saucepan. Add the zest, cloves, water, cinnamon stick, and sugar. Pour in the wine and heat the mixture until it is very hot, but not boiling. Strain the wine into a heated pitcher and pour into the punch cups, serve immediately. Serves 12 - 15
