½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
1 (16-ounce) can pumpkin
1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
Whipped topping, optional

Preparation time: 10 minutes plus 2 hours freezing time
In a large bowl of an electric mixer, blend together the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, and ice cream. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch pie pan and freeze. Serve topped with whipped topping, if desired.
