2 cups sugar
1 cup water
12 oz. can evaporated milk
1 T. almond extract
6 bottles (2 liters each) lemon lime carbonated drink
3 cartons (1/2 gallon each) vanilla ice cream


Recipe



In a pan, combine sugar and water. Stir constantly over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.

Add evaporated milk and almond extract; let cool.

Chill until ready to serve. Combine milk mixture and lemon lime drink in punch bowl just before serving. Add ice cream; stir to break ice cream into small pieces. Add a sprinkle of sliced almonds on top of each serving if desired.
