Cranberry Apple Relish

4 c. cranberries, chopped (1 bag)
1 lb. apples, peeled, cored, chopped (I used 3-4 apples)
2 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Recipe
Combine cranberries, apples, sugar and water in large saucepot. Simmer medium heat for 15 minutes. Stir frequently. Stir in cinnamon and walnuts; cook 5 minutes.
Ladle hot relish into hot jars, leave 1/4 inch headspace.
Release air with knife
Adjust 2 piece caps which have been soaked 10 minutes in hot water
Process 15 minutes in boiling water canner
Yield: 3 pints
