6 eggs, separated
1 cup confectioners sugar
2 cups milk
2 cups heavy cream, stiffly beaten
1 pint bourbon
1/4 cup rum
nutmeg to taste
Recipe
1. Beat egg yolks until thick.
2. Add half of the sugar gradually; beat well.
3. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
4. Add remaining sugar gradually; fold in egg yolk mixture.
5. Stir in milk; fold in whipped cream.
6. Pour into punch bowl; stir in bourbon and rum.
7. Sprinkle with nutmeg; serve.
NOTE: Brandy or sherry may be substituted for rum.
