    1 tablespoon butter or margarine
    1 tablespoon Corn Starch
    1 cup milk
    1 tablespoon dry sherry (optional)
    1 tablespoon chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried tarragon
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen green peas, thawed
    1 package (10 ounces) frozen pearl onions, thawed

    Recipe



    In saucepan over medium heat melt butter.

    In small measuring cup combine corn starch and milk until combined. Gradually whisk into saucepot. Stir in sherry, tarragon, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil; stirring. Boil 1 minute or until sauce is thickened.

    Cook peas and onions according to package directions. Drain peas and onions; stir into cream sauce.

    Servings: 8
