    3/4 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup sugar
    4 Tblsp. margarine, softened
    3/4 cup applesauce or apple butter
    2 egg whites
    2 Tblsp. skim milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 & 1/2 cups flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    3 cups Quaker Oats, quick or old fashioned
    1 cup raisins

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350º

    Beat together sugars and margarine until well blended. Add applesauce, egg whites, milk & vanilla; beat well.

    Combine & add to above; flour, baking soda, cinnamon & salt; mix well. Stir in oats and raisins; mix well. Dough will be moist.

    Spread dough in ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until light brown. Cool before cutting into bars.
