    Chocolate Peppermint Spritz Cookies

    1 cup butter or margarine
    3/4 cup sugar
    1 large egg
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 teaspoon peppermint extract
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    2 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
    2 1/2 cups White Lily All-Purpose Flour

    Recipe



    1 Preheat oven to 375°F.

    2 Cream together butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, peppermint extract and salt.

    3 Blend in flour and cocoa powder.

    4 Following the manufacturers' directions, load dough into cookie press. Press shapes onto UNGREASED baking sheet, spacing 2" apart. Note cookie press works best if dough is at room temperature.

    5 Bake cookies in center of oven for 10-14 minutes, or until lightly browned.

    YIELD: 28-32 Spritz Cookies
