List of Ingredients
1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teas salt
1/2 teas vanilla
1/2 teas cinnamon
2 unbeaten eggs
Recipe
Combine above ingredients and beat thoroughly
Stir in:
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 1/2 cups shredded coconut
Sift together:
1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 teas soda
Add to shortening mix; blend
Add:
3 cups rolled oats; mix well
Measure out a level Tbsp. dough on greased baking sheet, leaving a little space between
Bake about 12-15 minutes at 350�
Cool 2 minutes before removing from pan
Makes 5 1/2 dozen
