    2 cups pumpkin puree
    2 cups sugar
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 cup vegetable oil

    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons baking soda
    2 teaspoons cinnamon
    1 teaspoon nutmeg
    1 teaspoon allspice
    1 teaspoon ground cloves

    Frosting:
    3 ounces cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup butter, softened
    1 cup powdered sugar
    1 tablespoon milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Recipe



    In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin and sugar using an electric mixer. Beat in the eggs; then the oil.

    In a separate bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves. Add the dry ingredients gradually to the pumpkin mixture, mixing well after each addition. Pour the batter into a lightly oiled 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

    Frosting: In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese and butter using an electric mixer. Mix in the powdered sugar. Add the milk and vanilla extract and blend until smooth. Spread on cooled bars. Makes 24 bars.
