    Giant Chocolate Oat Cookie Wedges

    16 wedges

    3 cups oats
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    3/4 cup butter, softened
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    2 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 cup milk or water
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 (12 oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips

    Combine oats, flour, baking soda and salt.

    Cream butter, sugars, egg, milk and vanilla in large mixer bowl on medium speed until light and creamy. Gradually add flour mixture on low speed, mixing until blended. Stir in baking Chips.

    Press dough firmly into greased 10-inch springform pan or 12 1/4x1/2-inch pizza pan.

    Bake at 350F for 33-40 minutes in springform pan or 25-30 minutes in pizza pan, or until light golden. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into wedges to serve.

    TIP: Use your favorite baking chips. milk chocolate, peanut butter and butterscotch all taste great.
