Good Morning Prune Cookies

3/4 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups rolled oats
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup unprocessed bran
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/4 sp salt
1 cup pitted prunes, chopped
1 cup walnuts, chopped
Recipe
In a mixer, cream butter, honey, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Combine oats, flour,bran, soda, and salt. Mix into creamed mixture. Stir in prunes and walnuts. Drop by generous spoonfuls onto 2 lightly greased baking sheets. Flatten to about 1/2 inch. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on racks. Store in airtight container. Delicious and healthy.
