    Grandma Bogey Peanut Butter Cookies

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup of shortening
    1 cup of sugar
    1 cup of brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon of vanilla
    1 cup of chunky peanut butter
    3 cups of flour
    1/4 teaspoon of soda
    1/2 teaspoon of salt
    1 cup of chocolate chips, optional

    Cream shortening, sugars, eggs, vanilla. Beat well. Stir in peanut butter. Sift flour, salt, soda. Stir into creamed mixture. Add chips. form small balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 minutes at 350ºF. Makes 6 dozen
