1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 t. salt
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. flour
1/2 t. baking soda
1 t. ground cloves
1 t. ground ginger
1 t. ground cinnamon
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350. Cream sugar, egg, salt and shortening together. Add flour, baking soda and spices. Mix well. Roll dough into balls (tsp. size); then roll balls in granulated sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 to 6 min.
