    1/2 c margarine
    2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
    1-1/2 cups flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 eggs
    1 tsp rum extract
    1 cup coarsely chopped salted mixed nuts

    Recipe



    Melt margarine in pan over low heat
    Remove from heat & stir in brown sugar
    Set aside, cool to room temperature.
    Combine flour, baking powder & salt
    Stir eggs into cooled brown sugar mixture in saucepan
    Blend in dry ingredients, rum extract and nuts
    Spread mixture in greased 13x9x2" pan
    Bake 350 for 25-30 minutes or until done
    Cool in pan
    Cut into squares while warm
