Lemon Gooey Bars

1 box Lemon Supreme Cake Mix
1 egg, beaten
1 stick butter, melted
1 8 ounce pkg cream cheese, room temperature
2 eggs
1 ½ tsp lemon extract
1 box powdered sugar
non-stick spray


Recipe



Mix 1 beaten egg, melted butter, and cake mix thoroughly.

Press mixture (it will be thick, like a crust) into a 9 x 12 inch Pyrex dish that has been sprayed with non-stick oil. The mixture should be spread evenly on the bottom of the dish. Set aside.

Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, 2 eggs, and lemon extract. Pour mixture over the crust in the dish. Bake at 325 degrees for 40minutes or until golden brown. Cut into squares and serve. Kevin Carter likes to eat his Lemon Gooey Bars with a bowl of vanilla ice cream!
