    1 cup flour
    2 tablespoons white sugar
    1/2-cup margarine or butter
    Pinch salt

    Mix together and press in greased 8 x 8 square pan.

    Bake at 400 degrees approx. 10 to 15 minutes till starts to lightly brown.

    Middle
    1 1/2-packages unflavored gelatin
    1 cup white sugar
    1 cup boiling water

    Place in pot and simmer 10 minutes stirring often. Let cool to lukewarm.

    When cooled beat in 1 cup icing sugar till stiff. Add 2 teaspoons vanilla,
    1 teaspoon baking powder, few drops green or red food coloring. Just enough to make light tint. Blend well with mixer.

    Pour over base and sprinkle with colored coconut!!

    Keep refrigerated.
