    1 cups all purpose flour
    1 1/4 c. quick cooking rolled oats
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1 cup butter or margarine; softened
    12 oz. cream cheese; softened
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 16 oz. can whole cranberry sauce
    2 tsp. cornstarch

    Grease a 13x9" baking pan; set aside. In a large bowl stir together flour, oats and brown sugar. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Reserve 1 1/2 c. of the crumbs. Press the remaining crumbs onto the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

    Meanwhile, in another large bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, lemon juice and vanilla. Spread over baked layer.

    Stir together cranberry sauce and cornstarch; carefully spoon over cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with the reserved 1 1/2 c. crumbs. Bake about 40 minutes at 350 or until set. Cool on wire rack. Cover and chill at least 3 hours. Cut into bars.

    Makes 36 bars
