    Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

    1/2 cup - sugar
    1/3 cup - brown sugar
    1/2 cup - margarine
    1/2 cup - peanut butter
    1 - egg
    1 teaspoon - vanilla
    1 cup - flour
    1/2 cup - oatmeal
    1 tablespoon - baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon - salt
    6 ounce - mini semi-sweet chocolate chips


    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat sugars, margarine, peanut butter, egg and vanilla in medium size bowl with wooden spoon, until creamy. Mix in flour, oatmeal, soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips.
    Drop dough by rounded tablespoon or cookie scoop about 2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet.
    Bake 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown. Let the cookies sit out 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet.


    Yields 2 dozen
