Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies

1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup shortening1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp vanilla
48 milk chocolate kisses


Recipe



In large mixer bowl combine sugars, shortening and egg. Cream until well blended. Add peanut butter. Mix flour, salt, and soda. Add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla and milk. Shape dough into balls, roll balls in granulated sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven, top each cookie with a chocolate kiss, gently pressing into cookie.
