Fluffer Nutter Bars

Crust:
¼ pound butter
½ cup peanut butter
1 ¼ cups flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
Topping:
2 cups marshmallow fluff
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup peanuts
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Prepare crust. In an electric mixer, cream butter and sugar until light. Add peanut butter and egg. Mix until well blended. On low speed, add flour baking powder and salt. Mix just until blended. Press crust into the bottom and slightly up the sides of an ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Spoon fluff evenly over crust. Sprinkle peanuts and chocolate chips over fluff.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until top is lightly browned.
Remove pan from the oven. Place on a wire cooling rack. Cool completely. When cool, cut into squares.
Yields: 24 squares.
