    Fresh Brats
    Fresh Italian sausages
    Polish sausages
    All-beef hot dogs
    Turkey wieners, for heart-conscious guests

    Cook the fresh brats and Italian sausages in a large pot of boiling water. Cook until they are no longer pink in the middle about 20 minutes. Drain and keep warm in a crock-pot. Place the desired choice of hot dog, brat or sausage on long skewers and cook over the open fire. Serve with the following toppings:

    Assorted shredded cheeses: mozzarella, pepper jack and cheddar
    Salsa
    Warmed pizza sauce
    Ketchup
    Assorted mustards
    Slice ripe and green olives
    Diced onions
    Relishes
    Sauerkraut
    White and wheat hot dog buns
    Italian hoagie buns

    Tip: Cleaned old mason jars, napkin lined metal buckets, and stoneware or speckled enamel ware are great containers to add to the atmosphere of the gathering.
