Rootin Tootin Baked Beans

List of Ingredients
1 lg. can of Pork and Beans
1 small onion chopped
3 pieces of bacon or ham with fat/bone leftovers
1 can of Goya black beans drained (or any black beans)
1 small can of butter beans drained
3/4 c. brown sugar packed
1/2 cup of ketchup
1 T. prepared mustard
3 T. barbeque sauce (the smokey kind)
Recipe
Save the sauce from the drained beans in case you need to add to mixture if too thick.
Mix all in large bowl; put in cassarole dish, cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2-3 hours. Lift cover from edge to let steam escape and bake till not soupy but not too thick either..use judgement (apx. 1 hour).
Optional: Take out bacon or ham bone leftovers prior to serving.
Receipe is easily adjustable to individual taste and preferences. Don't be afraid to experiment.
