1 large onion, chopped
1 tablespoon butter
1 pound lean ground beef
2 tablespoons flour
18 ounces tomato soup
1/3 cup dry red wine
1 beef bouillon cube
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
� Saut� the onion in butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat for 5 minutes or until browned. Add the ground beef and brown, stirring until crumbly; drain.
� Sprinkle the flour over the ground beef mixture and mix well. Add the soup, wine, bouillon cube, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt and pepper.
� Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes, adding more wine if too thick. Serve over toasted hamburger buns.
Makes 6 servings.
