List of Ingredients




1/4 cup soft butter
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 cup finely chopped nuts

TOPPING;
2 beaten eggs
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt


Recipe



Cream the 1/4 cup butter and brown sugar till fluffy, sift and add the flour salt and baking powder, add nuts, put mixture in prepared 13x9 inch pan and pack firmly. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. TOPPING, beat all ingredients together and spread over hot crust in pan. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup nuts. Bake 20-25 minutes more or until top is golden brown. Cool slightly and cut into bars.
