    Cherry Swirl Coffee Cake

    1-1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup Crisco
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond extract
    4 eggs
    3 cups all purpose flour
    1-21oz. can cherry pie filling

    GLAZE
    1 cup confectioners sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk

    Recipe



    Blend first 7 ingredients on low speed. Increase to high and whip for 3 minutes. Stir in flour. Spread 2/3 of batter over bottom of greased jelly roll pan. Spread pie filling over batter. Drop remaining batter by tablespoonful over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Meanwhile, combine glaze ingredients and drizzle over cake while warm. Serve immediately
