Chocolate Mint Charlotte Russe

2 dozen ladyfingers
1 cup after-dinner mints
3/4 cup milk
few drops of red food coloring
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
2 squares semisweet chocolate, grated
bittersweet chocolate sauce (your choice)
Recipe
Prepare refrigerator ice-tray by lining it with wax paper and then with ladyfingers. Set aside.
Melt mints in the milk over low heat; cool. Add food coloring to tint to pink color. Fold in whipped cream and pour into another freezing tray.
When it has frozen to a mush, remove, stir well and add the grated chocolate. Pour over the ladyfingers in the first tray and refreeze.
At serving time pour on chocolate sauce
