    6 egg whites, (room temperature)
    3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 cup granulated sugar
    1 cup confectioners sugar
    1/ 2 cup cocoa powder
    2 pints mixed berries, like blueberries and raspberries
    4 kiwi, peeled, cut into 1" chunks
    1 cup pineapple chunks
    1 oz. semisweet chocolate, melted

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 250º
    In bowl, with mixer on high, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy.
    Beat in granulated sugar, 1 Tbs. at a time, until stiff peaks form.
    In bowl, sift confectioners sugar and cocoa
    Fold into egg whites.
    Drop by 1/2 cupfuls on wax paper lined baking sheet.
    Using spoon, form a 5" well in center of drops.
    Bake 1-1/2 hours or until dry to the touch.
    Let cool, then fill with fruit and drizzle with chocolate.
    12 Servings
