Devilish Caramel Fudge Brownies

1 pkg.(18-1/2oz.) Devil's Food Cake Mix
2/3 c. regular or skimmed evaporated milk
12 tbsp.(11/2 sticks) margarine or butter, melted
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 jar(12oz.) caramel ice cream topping
3 tbsp. all-pupose flour
1 pkg. (12oz.) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350*F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. In a mixing bowl with electric mixer, beat cake mix, 1/3 c. evaporated milk & margarine or butter for 1 minute. Mix in nuts. Press half the batter into prepared pan. Bake until set, 10 to 15 minutes. In a medium bowl, stir together topping, flour & 1/3 c. evaporated milk.
Remove from oven & pour caramel mixture evenly over top. Sprinkle with 1 c. of semi-sweet choclte chips. Crumble remaining cake mixture over the top. Sprinke with remaining chocolate chips. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until crusty. It will look undone, but will firm up as it cools. Cool completely. Cut into squares.(May be refrigerated up to 1 week or frozen.)
Makes 48 Brownies.
