    2 Tblsp. butter
    1 cup sugar
    3 eggs, separated
    4 Tblsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    5 Tblsp. lemon juice
    Rind of 1 lemon
    1-1/2 cups milk

    Recipe



    Cream butter, sugar & egg yolks & beat thoroughly. Add flour, salt, lemon juice & rind. Add milk. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

    Pour into greased custard cups. Set cups in pan of water, approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep & bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

    When done, each cup will contain custard at the bottom & sponge cake on top.

    Makes 8 servings
