2 qt. wild cherries, stemmed and cleaned
3 C. white sugar
1 qt. bourbon
Recipe
Place cherries in 1 gallon crock. Add sugar, stir. Cover crock with cloth. Stir every other day. Let stand in sugar about 2 weeks. Then add 1 quart bourbon. Let set overnight, then strain through cotton cloth into bottles. Cork lightly at first.
