    1/2 c Sugar
    1/3 c Butter or butter substitute
    1/3 c Molasses
    1/3 c Water
    Few grains salt

    Combine ingredients and boil to soft crack stage (275 ~ 280 F). Pour into well-buttered, shallow pan. Cut in squares when nearly cold.
