5 Cups whole milk
pinch salt
wedge orange and/or lemon
1 Cup sugar
2 Tablespooons butter
1 cinnamon stick
2 egg yolks beaten
cinnamon to sprinkle
1 cup of rice
Recipe
Boil milk and add next 6 ingredients. Stir. Beat egg yolks with a little milk and slowly add to rice mixture. Boil uncovered 5 minutes. Lower heat and simmer, covered 40 minutes. Looks runny. Remove cinnamon stick and friut. Pour into a serving dish and top with cinnamon. Thickens as it cools.
