4 eggs
1 qt. sweet milk
pinch of salt
2 Tbsp. butter
7 coconut macaroons, broken
1 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp. plain gelatin
Recipe
Beat eggs, add milk, sugar and salt. Cook in double boiler until thick.
Add macaroons, butter and almond ex.
Add gelatin dissolved in a little of the milk.
Take half the mixture and add food coloring (your pick)
Pour into dish, let cool and add the other uncolored half.
Put in icebox to set
