    Raspberry Meringue Pudding

    1 c fine bread crumbs
    2 c milk
    2 T butter
    3/4 c sugar
    3 eggs separated
    1/2 c raspberry jam

    Recipe



    Soak crumbs in milk 5 minutes.

    Cream butter add 1/2 c sugar and well beaten egg yolks. Stir egg mixture into soaked crumbs. Place in a buttered casserole.

    Put casserole in a pan of hot water. Bake 350° for one hour or until center is set.

    Spread jam over top of pudding.

    Make a meringue of egg whites and remaining sugar. Pile meringue over jam. Bake in 325° oven until lightly brown.
