Waffle Iron Brownies

Recipe Introduction


Brownies made in a waffle iron! They're perfect for a holiday brunch. Serve them warm with a little powdered sugar.



List of Ingredients




1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
3/4 cup sugar
3 teaspoons water
2 large eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Powdered sugar for dusting

Melt butter. Add cocoa and mix well. Add sugar, water, eggs and salt and mix until very well blended. Add flour a bit at a time. Blend in nuts.

Drop one generous tablespoon in each well of waffle iron. Close iron and cook until done. Sprinkle hot brownies with powdered sugar.
