    1 Tbsp unflavored gelatin
    1/4 Cup cold water
    1/2 Cup sugar
    1/2 Cup boiling water
    1-1/2 Cups evaporated milk
    6 lady fingers
    Whipped cream

    Recipe



    Soak gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes
    caramelize the sugar by cooking in a skillet over a low flame, until browned, stirring frequently. Add boiling water slowly to it and stir until the caramel is dissolved
    Stir in gelatin and sugar until dissolved
    Chill until mixture thickens slightly
    Add the milk
    Wet mold, and line with lady fingers; cover with russe mixture
    Chill
    Serve with whipped cream
