    1940's Baked Lemon Cups

    1 cup sugar
    4 Tblsp. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 Tblsp. butter
    1 1/2 cup milk
    5 Tblsp. lemon juice
    Rind of 1 lemon
    3 egg yolks
    3 egg whites, beaten stiff

    Recipe



    Combine all ingredients except egg whites.

    Carefully fold in beaten egg whites.

    Pour into greased custard cups. Bake in pan of hot water in a pre-heated oven at 325 degrees for 45 minutes
