    4 C boiling water, divided
    2 pkg. (4 serving) or 1 pkg.(8 serving) Jell-O brand Berry Blue flavor
    2 pkg.(4 serving) or 1 pkg.(8 serving) Jell-O brand any red flavor
    3 C cold water, divided
    1 pkg. 4 serving Jell-O Lemon flavor
    1 tub cool whip, thawed

    Recipe



    Stir 1 1/2 C boiling water into blue and red Jell-O in separate bowls at least 2 minutes until dissolved.
    Stir 1 1/2 c cold water into each bowl.
    Spray 13x9 pan with no stick spray; place on cookie sheet.
    Pour blue Jell-O into pan.
    Refrigerate 45 minutes until set but not firm (Jell-O should stick to finger when touched and should mound).
    Refrigerate red Jell-O in bowl 45 minutes
    Stir remaining 1 C. boiling water into lemon Jell-O till dissolved.
    Refrigerate 25 minutes or until slightly thickened, stir occasionally.
    Stir in whipped topping with wire whisk.
    Gently spread over blue Jell-O in pan.
    Refrigerate 10 minutes or until set but not firm.
    Gently spoon thickened red Jell-O over mixture in pan.
    Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
    Decorate with additional topping and fruit (blueberries and strawberries) to resemble flag.
