Brownie Mint Sundae Squares

1 (21.5- or 23.6-ounce) package fudge brownie mix
3/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1 (14-ounce) can Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
2 teaspoons peppermint extract
Green food coloring (optional)
2 cups (1 pint) whipping cream, whipped
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
hot fudge sauce or chocolate flavored syrup (optional)
Recipe
1. Prepare brownie mix as package directs; stir in walnuts. Turn into aluminum foil lined and greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake as directed. Cool thoroughly.
2. In large bowl, combine condensed milk, peppermint extract and food coloring (optional). Fold in whipped cream and chocolate chips. Pour over brownie layer.
3. Cover; freeze 6 hours or until firm. To serve, lift brownies from pan with foil; cut into squares. Serve with hot fudge sauce (optional). Freeze leftovers.
