    1 stick oleo
    1 C. granulated sugar
    4 eggs
    1/4 t. salt
    1 lb. can Hershey's chocolate syrup
    1 C. flour
    1/2 t. baking powder
    1/2 t. vanilla
    1/2 C. chopped nuts

    Recipe



    Beat eggs; add oleo & sugar; beat until light.
    Add flour, salt, baking powder alternately with syrup.
    Add vanilla & nuts; beat until smooth.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350º degrees in a greased 9x13 inch pan.

    Frosting

    6 T. oleo
    6 T. milk
    1-1/2 C. sugar
    1/2 C. chocolate chips

    Boil sugar, milk, & oleo hard for 30 seconds. (NO LONGER)
    Add chips.
    Cool & beat until thick
