1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 sticks oleo
2 Tbs. sugar 1 cup chopped pecans
Mix spread in 13x9 pan and bake at 350 for 20 min., until lightly browned. Then stir with
fork and break into crumbs before spreading cheese mixture on top.
Mix together:
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
2 cups sifted powered sugar (I never bother to sift it.)
1 tsp. vanilla
Fold 1 large tub of Coolwhip into cheese mixture and spread over crumb mixture.
Spread 1 can pie filling over this and chill. (Sometimes I use two cans for a deeper topping, and on occasion I have done one end of the blitze in a one flavor, and the other end in another, so that people had a choice.)
