Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies

1/2 cup peanut butter, creamy or crunchy
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
In a medium-sized bowl, with an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the peanut butter, butter, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Blend in the vanilla, then beat in the flour. Fold in the chocolate chips until well combined. Spread batter evenly into an 8-inch square baking pan that has been coated with nonstick baking spray.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until golden. Remove from the oven and place the pan on a wire rack. Allow to cool completely before cutting.
