Chocolate Topped Amaretto Custard

3 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup Amaretto (or Grand Marnier or Frangelico or your favorite liqueur)
1-1/4 cup milk
1/3 cup chocolate syrup Recipe
Combine eggs, sugar & vanilla in a bowl; blend well
Stir in liqueur; set aside
Place milk in a 2 cup measure
Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes or until milk is scalded don't boil)
Gradually stir about 1/4 of hot milk into egg mix
Add to remaining hot milk, stir constantly
Pour mix into 4 (6-oz) custard cups.
Place cups in a circle in microwave & cook at med (50% power) for 6-10 minutes or until almost set in the center
Rearranging cups every 2 minutes
Chill thoroughly
Heat syrup in microwave
Invert custard onto serving plates. Spoon 1/4 of heated syrup over each serving
