Coffee-Mallow With Cherry Sauce

32 large marshmallows
1 cup hot strong coffee
1 pt. heavy cream
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2-1-lb. cans dark pitted cherries in heavy sauce
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Brandy for taste
Recipe
Combine marshmallows with hot coffee in top of double boiler. Heat over simmering water until marshmallows are melted, stir frequently. Cool at room temperature until barely warm.
Whip cream. Blend into coffee mixture along with vanilla extract. Stir thoroughly until it is of uniform color and no streaks of the coffee mixture.
Pour into mold and chill several hours.
Drain syrup from cherries into a saucepan. Blend in cornstarch and cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened. Add Brandy and cherries. Serve cherries and sauce around coffee mold.
Serve sauce while still warm. . Trust me is good
