Dulce De Leche Charlotte

14 lady fingers, split in half
1 quart Haagen-Dasz Dulce de Leche ice cream, softened
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
5 ripe bananas, peeled and cut in half horizontally, then lengthwise
1/2 to 1 cup bottled caramel sauce
Recipe
Line sides and bottom of a 6-cup charlotte mold or soufflé dish with ladyfinger halves. Spoon in softened ice cream, cover with plastic wrap and freeze until firm, about 2 to 4 hours.
When ready to serve, melt butter and sugar together in skillet over medium-high heat. Stir and cook until smooth and bubbly. Add bananas and cook several minutes over medium-low heat until bananas are well coated and softened.
Remove charlotte from mold by inverting over serving dish. You may need to run a sharp knife around the edge. Cut into wedges and drizzle with caramel sauce. Serve with caramelized bananas. Makes 6 servings.
