English Toffee Ice Cream

Four 1.4 ounce bars of chocolate covered English toffee
2 cups of whipping cream
One 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup of strong coffee, cooled
1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
Crush toffee bars by placing them between two pieces of waxed paper and crushing them with a rolling pin. Set aside. Combine the whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk, coffee, and vanilla. Chill.
Beat with an electric mixer on low speed until slightly thickened. Fold in toffee. Spoon into a 2 quart square baking dish or a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Cover and freeze for several hours or until firm.
