Frango Mint Brownies

Two 1 ounce squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup butter (one stick)
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped pecans (can be omitted)
1/2 cup chopped Frango mints (8 pieces)
Recipe
Melt unsweetened chocolate and butter in saucepan. Cool. Beat sugar until thick and lemon-colored. Add sugar gradually. Beat thoroughly. Stir in melted chocolate and butter. Add vanilla. Blend in flour and fold in chopped nuts and chopped Frangos. Pour into greased 8 inch or 9 inch square pan. (recipe can be doubled) Bake at 350 deg. For 20
to 25 minutes until top is shiny and crust forms. Avoid overbaking.
