Fudgy Raspberry Brownies

6 oz unsweetened chocolate
1 c butter
2 c sugar
4 eggs
2 t vanilla
1-1/2 c flour
1/2 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1 c sliced almonds
1 c milk chocolate chips
3/4 c raspberry preserves Recipe
Preheat oven to 350°
Lightly butter 13x9 pan
In med saucepan, over low heat, melt together unsweetened chocolate & butter, stir often
Remove from heat
With wire whisk, beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla
Transfer mixture to large bowl and cool slightly
Gradually stir in flour, baking powder and salt just to combine
Fold in almonds and chocolate chips
Spread about 3/4 of batter evenly in pan
Carefully spread raspberry preserves on top of batter
Drizzle remaining batter evenly over preserves swirling top lightly with a spoon Gently smooth top
Bake 20 - 25 minutes, or until tests done
Cool completely before cutting
Makes 32 brownies
